I'm sure some of you must have seen this. I bought a new FN SPR a couple of years ago and was just tracing it for a Pelican case cut-out. What caught my eye was the marking on the barrel. I live in Fredericksburg, VA now, and I noticed this rifle (or maybe just the barrel) was manufactured here, but what's more is that the city is misspelled "Fredricksburg", minus an "e". My other SPR is marked "New Haven, CT". What can you guys tell me about the "Fredricksburg" version?

Re: FN SPR "Fredricksburg"

all i can tell you is that i shot a 500yd F class match with my new completely stock "Fburg" A5 and it did amazingly well for an out of the box rifle. are you sure thats the manufacturer, or just the importer relocated? i have an HK that says "trussville AL" but i know its not made there. - FNH

^ FNP pistols are made in Columbia, SC, although marked with "Fredericksburg, VA" on the slide, indicating not the place of manufacture but the registered location of FNH's Federal Firearms License.
