FN SPR receiver threads - is this right?

Recently I acquired a FN SPR action and while looking it over I noticed that the threads had two cuts on either side. Winchester actions require an extractor cutout on the barrel threads but I was surprised to see grooves on either side of the female threads. Is this how they all are? Hopefully the action will be shipped out next week for a barrel install so I just want to make sure I'm not sending out a factory second or worse.
Thanks for any help or thoughts.

Yes, that's normal. It's due to broaching out the raceways.

You can eliminate it, by opening up the threads to a larger diameter.

no worries, all three of my SPR actions are just like that, they build really nice rifles, I have two Fclass and one tactical out of them and they all are 1/2 MOA or better.

Thanks for the reassurances! This is my first bolt gun build and want it to start off right.
