fn spr vs custom barrel

Have an opportunity to get a FN SPR for myself with text target less than 1/2 (a1 not bedded).. I can get an action but have to buy a stock and barrel which will be less than 1/2 moa but will cost more. Since I am not the best shooter I thought of staying with the stock a1 with the custom lined barrel which should last me forever. Interested in opinions either way.

Get the A1 have it bedded just for consistency, have the trigger adjusted and shoot the hell out of it.Down the road if you want more accuracy or for what ever reason you just need a new barrel put on.
