Suppressors FNAR Suppressed question

Just thought I would ask as I am in the process of having my FNAR threaded for suppressor use. I have read that some folks have had some issues using a suppressor on the FNAR with subsonic ammo. For some reason I suspect the ammo might be the issue but I do not know.

Is anyone running a can on a FNAR here?

My biggest question is would I need to adjust the gas flow on this gun from suppressed to non suppressed?

If I have to adjust the gas system then it really isn't worth suppressing as that will be a pain to do back and forth.

Thanks

Re: FNAR Suppressed question

So is it that no one has suppressed a FNAR or no one cares to suppress a FNAR or is it that no one really gives a rats ass about a FNAR?

Re: FNAR Suppressed question

I believe the FNAR's gas system can be adjusted internally for sub-sonic loads, havent do it personally, I think Mark @ SAC has done this but not sure

Re: FNAR Suppressed question

Sadly, I have killed the FNAR suppressed deal. My smith had some issue working on it and instead of allowing him to continue I gave him one of my Remington 308 PSS's to cut down to 18" and thread for my suppressor. It will probably work better that way anyway and I will use my POF 308 suppressed as well since it has an adjustable gas block.
