fng from NH

Not a big one anymore. winter ticks are decimating the population.

Recently wrote a report on chronic wasting disease related to the decimation of whitetail across North America. Although not related to the ticks the death rates are quite as substantial as the moose deaths in NH by percentage of population. Crazy how nature works.

Where do you take your rifles out to stretch their legs?

I used to be a member of Nashua Fish and Game Club in Merrimack (1,000 yds) and Sunset Mountain Fish and Game Club in Canterbury (500 yds).

Nashua was a PITA. You had to qualify at 600 with the range director which I understand, but quals were conveniently mid morning on some Thursdays which absolutely sucked if you have a job. I guess he only wanted retired members.

Sunset Mt. is what I think a club ought to be like.

I also was a member at Country Pond Fish and Game in Newton. Great club (the Pin Shoots are a blast) but rifle was only 100 yds.

Nashua is only 600. pretty easy to qualify now. any time there is a match there is an opportunity to do so after its over.

Sunset is good but only 500 yards.

I go to nyband shoot a 1k range and a 2100 range. also have pemi valley at 750 and power lines

I just moved away from the Nashua area a couple years ago, I hear there is a new long distance range going up in NH. I will fly back to shoot there with friends.
