I've been wanting to develop my marksmanship skills and shoot at longer ranges for a while now. Seems like all of my Google searches on the subject eventually ended up on this site. Figured it was time to join! I'm looking forward to learning from people on here and extend my effective range and improve my field craft as a hunter. There is so much bad information out there on regular hunting sites.
Most of my shooting experience is with pistols and AR type rifles. I've put most of my energy into practical pistol shooting. I do that type of stuff for work, but have always enjoyed shooting a bolt rifle or single shot more than anything. I just don't get free bolt rifles and ammo to shoot like do pistol and AR stuff!
