I carry a Victorinox "Tinker". I farm for a living. The screwdriver saves a lot of steps and saves lot of broke points too. And when you lose it or break it, They're cheap and just get another.

You realize most will vote for whatever they own? Other than Pro Tec and Biker, I own or have owned at least one of each. With one exception I can't really rank one above another. Some I prefer over others, but that's personal preference.

Hey Eddie,

I agree 100% with you, I own almost everyone on the listed except for the micro-tech which is the one I voted for. Just thought it would be fun for people to vote and see which one comes out on top!?!

I've become a fan of benchmade. I lost my griptilian at one time and researched to buy something different. In the end I couldn't find anything I'd rather have. It's also the first nicer pocket knife I owned and I've carried it for years so maybe ignorance is bliss.

Long time knife nut and I've owned or do still own each brand of knife from your list. For me, the past few years I've been carrying Zero Tolerance and Spyderco knives mainly for my folders. I have a thing for flipper knives and titanium frame locks. I got rid of most of my autos just because they're more of a novelty thing and I've seen to many of them break (including Microtechs and Protechs). I still like them, just don't buy them anymore.

When I sent in a ZT350 to be refurbished, broken spring assist, chipped edge, crudded up joint, I bought a 566 Hinderer with ELMAX steel. The 350 sits in reserve for when the 566 goes down. When I broke my old Leathermen Super Tool I sent it back and Leatherman sent me the new Super Tool with an improved design.

Both companies have great products and great customer service. When I think of a pocket knife it think of something that actually slips into the pocket. My favorite, it's a little big, it the Old Timer large trapper. For years I carried a Buck 110 and the Trapper. I never felt under equipped.

I currently have a Benchmade Griptillion, and a Cold Steel AK-47, before that I had a CRKT M16. All great knives, though each "different". I like the blade lock of the Benchmade, the pocket clip of the Cold Steel, and the ease of sharpening on the CRKT. Overall the Griptillion is my favorite, unfortunately I'll eventually lose it cause thats what happens to all of them.:(

Benchmade mini Stryker II 904. Just replaced my 707 Sequel. Great EDC

Here is a pic from the net.

Everyone here should look at what you actually use it for, and then check out Case or Victorinox and find what really suits their needs. A Case trapperlock daily and a victorinox in the glovebox....out in the woods is a different story
