8 years ago this month I lost "Kash" my African Grey parrot....it was a tragic accident that still haunts me daily! He was as close or closer to me than my own children! And I will Never forget him or forgive myself....

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. My little boy Adler, a little corgi, was killed by a drunk driver right in front of me when I was talking him for a walk one night. I do blame myself for it as well, but shit happens. I always consider them my children, and I'd gladly take a bullet for any of them, because I know they would do the same for me. That's just how pups roll.

I have a corgi was well, incredibly smart dogs and the best friend I could ever hope for here. Had to put my beagle "Sparky" down 35 years ago and still feel the pain. He still managed to wag his tail for me as I said goodbye for the last time.
