I feel that it would be very cool to have something like that for my MkII, but putting a $600 stock on a $400 rimfire just doesn't make any sense to me... I suppose if you don't mind spending the money then it's a viable option for someone to get away from the Tacticool and other cheap models like it.
I think I would rather put that money into better glass and ammo. But that's just me, I know alot out there are interested in a high quality stock for their MkII's. I'm just not one of those people. If I had an Annie or similar quality rifle, then at that point I would consider buying something very nice for it. But I bought my Savage because it was cheap. I know you're a lefty though, TG, so you probably have your Savage for slightly different reasons than I do

^^^ditto, unless they came out with a more economical stock. for a MKII, i think that anything over 250.00 is way too much.
and for 250.00, the stock should have some accuraccy and comfort improving qualities.

actually, i was hoping that choate would come out with a rimfire version of their tactical stock for rimfire.

i love my mk2 and all, but there's NO CHANCE i would spend $600+ on a stock for an action that's so poorly designed
