So I had my rifle apart a couple of days ago for a thorough cleaning after 500 rds or so. I noticed that the lower assy for the trigger and bottom metal had only two obvious screws that held it to the laminated stock. After separating the two there is a third hole for mounting that is threaded, the one that retains the bottom metal for the mag. It is only a wood screw, but would it make sense to drill it out and get another machine screw to further rigidity of the rifle? One other thing, is there someone that makes a bottom metal that would serve at pillar mounts as well? I will get pics up if need be. Thanks guys and gals.
