Formula for Subsonic Transition

Hi I'm new here, and this may be a dumb question, but is there a formula to predict the point when a bullet will transition out of supersonic flight? Preferably using BC and muzzle velocity. I'm looking for some new ammo, and I'd like to know if this new stuff I just found will fly further than my current ammo.

run the bullet through a Chronograph, put the numbers and datat in a ballistic program, you should get what you are looking for.

You can find a good online calculator on line at http://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmtraj-5.1.cgi

I have found JBM to be very accurate.
