what's the opinion on the Forster bushing bump die?

I need a neck sizeing die for .308, I've got some Redding Type S neck dies for other calibers but I've never used the Forster, any prefrence for any reason?

Re: forster bushing bump die

the Forster is equal to the redding in my opinion, and most important cheaper.

I have a Redding bushing neck die for my .308 when I didn't know any better, and then went with the Forster for my 6.5x47L.

Not saying Redding is crap, they are very good, but forster is too for a cheaper end user price.

Re: forster bushing bump die

I really like the bushing bump die. Very easy to adjust, very nice quality, and perfect for anyone not wanting to full length size, but control setback and neck tension.
I have Forster and Redding micrometer seating dies. I prefer the Forster.

Re: forster bushing bump die

The only diwn side to the Forster, is that the bushings are Forster specific. The upside is that the dies are priced the same, vs the cost of Type S FL dies vary with what Redding Category they fit in.
