Hi all,
Brand new Forster dies for my 338 Lap - (DTA SRS A1).
The RCBS dies i was using were working perfectly, not a single issue. The new Forster FLS, just wont accept the cases. I have tried 2 different types of lube (the only suggestion from Forster was to try different lube), but it made absolutely no difference.
Attached here are 2 videos of the issue:

And i did a Soot test, showing that it isnt even making it to the neck. The top 2 pictures were before and after of using soot on the neck/shoulders and lubing the lower of the case. The second was obvisouly soot on the whole lot. Seems to be jamming between the shoulders and the base of the case, but nowhere particularly obvious.
I have also tried a brand new Lapua case... it also gets stuck in the FLS die !
It has been suggested that it might be likely the Die used to cut the FLS at Forster may have been old or incorrect. Why is it that paying top dollar for gear doesnt always give you trouble free shooting!
Anyway, any suggestions would be great, Forster asked me to just send the die back, but Australia to US and turnaround time etc, leaves me with no competition die for what would be like at least a month! Not really a solution i'm keen on.
Has this happened to anyone before, is it likely the Die has been manufactured incorrectly ?
