Folks,
The first Fort McCoy event will take place May 29th, 30th and 31st, 2009. It will be a team event consisting of a spotter and a shooter. Friday will be registration and sight in day. Saturday will be the .50 cal shooter and lesser caliber for the spotter day. The spotter will engauge targets from 100 yards to 500 yards. The shooter will engage targets from 600 yards to 1,800 yards. After each team has completed thier first string of targets they will switch positions. The shooter will become the spotter and the spotter will become the shooter. The team that has the most amount of target hits with the most ammunition left over will be the top #1 team. All teams will have 2rds. per target to engage with. The targets are military type with movers as well.
Sunday the 2nd day will be the same format with the exception that it will be any rifle, any caliber for spotter and shooter. Team Awards will be awarded to 1st-5th place for each day of competition.
