Is it safe to leave a bore uncleaned after a fouler shot (and for how long) to keep it ready for the next opportunity. I never know when I will see my next crow or yote and depending on the distance, 1/2 MOA can mean the diff. between a hit or miss on a crow. Of course I'm talking about non corrosive ammo and this is a 416 stainless barrel. Thanks for the advice,

Gunner

If he was looking for Minute of Duck would it be a fowler?

It's FOULER (as in fouled barrel) not fowler (as in a gun used for birds).

It's perfectly fine if we are talking days or weeks. I probably wouldn't go months without putting a couple more rounds through or cleaning it out. However I have CM barrels that sit in my safe in Southern Indiana weather without problem and the factory barrel on my AI lives in the trunk of my police car in a constantly fouled state.

To be fair, he did say it's intended for shooting crows... ;D
