I cant remember off the top of my head, but we used either an 11/16 or 5/8 shallow socket for a mold then used a dab of silicone in the bottom of the holes to set them. been over two years ago and still going strong.

Or brass hex bar stock fits right in.

5/8” hex brass bar from McMaster works just fine. Cut them 3/4” tall and secure how you want to

I’ve bought a pair of brass and lead weights off the hide before. I don’t have the tools to make them.
