For those of you that are running foundations, what kind of setup on the forend are you running? Full length arca? Anarchy rail? I’m not sure which way I want to go. If you could tell me why you like it that way I’d appreciate it.

I’m more leaning towards an anarchy as well. That foundation forend is so wide I think let it do it’s thing.

With most bags being heavy sand fill, I don’t think it will matter much.

I’ve ran/run them with and without the full arca. Not a huge difference overall.

So is it worth it to have a full arca just for being able to put an accessory anywhere along the forend?

I run a standard arca rail on my Foundations. I like the clean and uninterrupted rail for shooting positional with a bag, it lets the gun slide fore/aft on recoil without interruption. Having the full length of the arca rail also gives options for bipod placement which can come in handy on some obstacles, turning what would be a positional shot into a modified prone if you can get the bipod in the right spot. Sometimes will move bipod on the fly in the middle of a stage, slide it forward or backward for the next position or remove it entirely to go from prone to positional.
