Hey guys, I just ordered a Compass Lake Match Grade Upper. I have at least 4 friends with them and the forend they give is a standard spacegun tube.

My question is this: Since I am a nut and really care about aesthetics (not that the standard tube looks bad), would you leave it as is... or, should I change it out. If I do change it out, is there any pro or cons to doing so?

I am not putting anything other than a scope on it as it will be a bench rest target gun ONLY. I am not hunting, running around with it, or any other nonsense... Bench rest target.

Additionally, I am looking for some recommendations on what to put on to give it a real BAD ASS look..lol

Suggestions, help... much appreciated folks!

While I generally don't refer anyone I LIKE to BARFCOM (aside from perhaps the Equipment Exchange), it actually isn't a terrible idea.

You can find some pics of some very interesting builds over there if you can stomach all the bull$#!T that comes with them and there is certainly no shortage of "Billy Badasses" willing to show off and brag about their "badass" builds. That may give you an idea of something you'd like over the standard tube from CLE (which while it may not win any awards for its basic appearance, is very nice and an effective FF tube).

Aside from BAFCOM, try looking through some of the available FF handguards from sites like Rainier Arms, etc.

Off hand, my recommendation would be for you to have a look at the offerings from PRI. They have several different CF FF handguards in both round and delta (flat-bottom, triangular style) configurations that you can keep smooth or add rails as necessary (like one at 6 o'clock for your bipod if nothing else).
