Fresh barrel on comp rifle

[Cascade Precision]

I've been running 6.5 Creedmoor for the last 2 years and have really enjoyed it. Got a 6mm 7.5 twist Hawk Hill MTU on trade and figured why not. Spun up a 6mm Creedmoor and too it out this week.

Rough zero, then 5 rounds. Yes, I know the group isn't on the pastie. I wanted 5 fresh shots on target to accurately judge the barrel.

Forgot how small 6mm holes are. Walked up and down the 100 yard line 5 times. 2 rounds at 600 yards. Might need a little practice there, but this is promising for sure!

Looks like a solid build!

Looks great, 6mm is excellent but you will miss the larger splashes of the 6.5 especially misses in the dirt.

That's occurred to me (larger splashes). I guess time will tell. I still have a 6.5 8 twist on the way from Benchmark and will have the luxury of shooting both.
