Been lurking around a lot here and finally joined! I get into analysis paralysis pretty bad so earlier this year I figured before I start buying things I need to take a class.
Stumbled upon Fritz precision shooting out in Lewiston ID and reserved a spot for me and a couple friends for the fundamentals 2 day course becuase the price was just too good. This included all gear, lodging, and food. Just needed to get there and pay for ammo. It was an incredible 2 days of learning and experience. My prior experience was only out to 200 yards. Day one we sighted in at 100 yards, then calibrated our G7 out at 1220 yards (6.5CM). We were practicing positions and other fundamentals the rest of the time between 600 and 1100 yards. Funnest weekend I’ve had in a long time. Great people, small class size, and really great training. How friend Chris Costa showed up as well to help teach so we were 2 amazing teachers to a group of 5.
If you have thought about going, I highly recommend it. Don is a fantastic teacher, and if you don’t own your own equipment it’s an even better deal. I was able to try out the three scopes I’ve been most interested in (element theos and vortex razor gen 2 and 3) as well as some sweet chassis builds. Can’t beat the value for sure( I looked!). Now I just need a second job so I can buy things I don’t need
There are more than just fundamentals classes from him, and if you don’t see something on his site I’d just call him, they teach all kind of LEO classes, there is probably something for you! Happy to answer any questions!
