The Tactical Assault Panel (TAP) is the Modular Lightweight Load - Carrying Equipment allows for quick-release of equipment in emergency situations. TAP is compatible with the quick release system of the improved outer tactical vest (IOTV) and Soldier Plate Carrier System (SPCS). TAP can also be worn like a Ranger Assault Carrying Kit (RACK) in stand-alone mode, using the external webbing harness. Kit includes TAP Harness Assembly 8465-01-F00-8472, (2) TAP Plate Carrier Adapter 8465-01-F00-8474, TAP Right and Left Shoulder Adapter 8465-01-F00-8477 & 8465-01-F00-8478
The Panel has 8 Single Magazine Pouches across the front of the Panel. The Two outside magazine pouches are sized for .308 caliber magazines.
