I have a nice 28" bull contour criterion remage prefit that was originally chambered in .284 win,and is now chambered in 7 rem mag.barrel is an 8 twist for the heavies.had only 200 rds fired as a 284 before the rechamber.shot the 183 smk's very well,but i wanted more velocity so i had adam Bentley at dresden gunworks cut a match chamber and a midlength freebore so the barrel could accommodate various length bullets.it will do well with anything from 162 eld's to 210 grn heavies.i did a good break in on the new chamber and shot a few groups after with 183 smk's and h1000.shot fantastic and gave me great velocity ,everything i was looking for.i never seem to have time to shoot anymore so this barrel never got to ring any steel.also threaded 3/4-28 by adam and comes with a schuler 4 port brake.250 shipped takes it home
