These guns are notorious for being difficult to select optics for (bolt handle interferes with larger ocular bells). Bought this with the intent to raise my optic/allow it to fit more easily while simultaneously being able to use regular scope rings. Chose my optic after buying the base and turns out it’s not necessary (PST Gen I 2.5-10x32). Perfect for anyone wanting to run a scope with a larger optic body/objective bell.
