I've gotten kinda heavy on bolt guns, so thinning the herd to just keep my AI's. This tikka t3 has been trued, lug recesses, bolt lugs lapped, receiver and bolt face squared. It has a tikka shooters (mountain tactical) pinned 20moa rail on it. The barrel is a 24" kreiger 4 groove m24 contour 8tw 243ai, threaded 5/8-24. It will ship with a thread protector. The stock is a krg w3 gen4 with aluminum forend. Stock comes with a bunch of extras, small black grips and large fde grips, bagrider, flushcup plates, barricade stop and spigot. It has the more solid lop adjustment, imo, compared to the newer gen6 version.
Now the cool part that you dont ever see, a sako trg22 trigger. Beretta didnt sell many of these before they pulled them off and only replaced/repaired in factory. Cant find a much better 2 stage trigger than the trg22, and I'm an ai fan. I believe I bought this for 390.00 from brownells. The trigger actually has it's own triggerguard and mag release that drops in to the w3 chassis. It will also come with the factory t3 trigger and the normal alum krg triggerguard
The barrel has right at 450rds on it. I ran a fairly tame load in this, 105hybrids@3125. I did switch over to 112 barnes @3035. My other 243ai, a remage, had no problem getting 105s to 3300, but it was a 325.00 prefit that I didnt care to beat on it. I've just been conservative with this barrel, barrel life should be 2000+rds. I'll dig up some 100yd groups pics later, but heres some at 1k. Shot flatter than shooter predicted, hit a little high. 4 just above swinger and one barely caught the top of it. Shot in 8-10mph fv wind, shows some horizontal from that.
