F T/R Competition Full Bore Match in Oak RIdge this Weekend.

Full bore match, F class welcome.

There is a change to the schedule, this is practice for our full bore shooters for Perry so they have changed the program to be 15 shots at 300/600/1000 vs. 800/900/1000 to match the schedule there.

Come out and shoot. (300/600 gives you a chance to shoot just about any rifle and get there)

it is still an approved match, not a practice session, your scores will go to the NRA for classification. We changed the yard lines so that it will give you an opportunity to get solid zeros for your Palma rifle and F/class shooters at 300 & 600 yards in preperation for the matches at Perry.

I learned something new. I found out what "getting Creedmoored" means. If the initial reports are right I got "Creedmoored" in F-TR.

Good match. The Palma shooters discussed what is probably actually going to happen at Camp Perry and we ended up shooting 800/900/1000. (which also saved us doing 3 target changes in the 90+ degree heat)

The orthopedic surgeon let me out of the wheelchair on Friday so I was pretty slow getting around, and having to move to 3 different firing points didn't help but I still had fun. Thanks to everyone who put up with my hobbling about and helped me haul my stuff around.
