Fultorn Armory Side Cocker

No it aint a porno thread.. I was curious if anyone had experience with this upper. I was thinking of swapping my DPMS upper receiver and bolt carrier with the FAR Titan one. I have seen a few AR- style rifles with the charging handle on the left, but never on the right. How well does this throw brass without a deflector? Will I be getting hit in the forehead with hot brass?

I like mine. they work fine, and throw brass rearward at about 20 degrees.

They are very nice rifles/uppers. A friend of mine who is a southpaw bought one (against my advice I might add) and he has had nothing but excellent service from his (Hello, my name is ________, and I am often wrong!).

No issues whatsoever with ejecting brass in the head/face/neck or with the reciprocating cocking handle/lever (which were my concerns with him being a lefty and shooting NTCH). His rifle has around 300 rounds through it (last time I was with him at the range that is) and it has been flawless. I shot 2 mags through it and my best 5rnd groups were right at MOA with FGMM 168gr (worst group was around 1.75" with a called flyer).

i have the Titan and love it! One minor issue when I bought it; Clint stood behind his work!

Mine had an extractor issue.
It took awhile to diagnose an occasional double feed (empty case + live round).
Adding power to the extractor made the problem disappear.
