Okay, Ive been shooting PRS style matches for a while now, and have been through a couple of more budget friendly rangefinders (leupold, bushnell 1300, etc) and I have decided I want to drop some more money on a rangefinder. My initial thought was to go with a Sig Kilo 2200, which my usual partner has and we trust, but he was able to go shoot the Steel Safari this year, and he came back and said that a rangefinding binocular would have been a huge improvement over just a kilo 2200 and a rifle scope. We have also decided that binoculars would be an improvment over an 8x monocular. So, I am faced with a decision, Sig Kilo 2200 with a Viper HD 10x42 or a Bushnell Fusion 1 Mile. I have heard that the Bushnell is a decent rangefinder out to 800/900, which is about where the Sig starts to have trouble with small targets as well. On the other hand, I have heard that the Bushnell's glass quality really holds it back, making a bino/rangefinder set a better deal. Does anyone have an opinion? Or a comparison of the Fusion to a Kilo 2200? I would rather have a good pair of binoculars and a good rangefinder than a mediocre rangefinding binocular. Thanks guys, I appreciate the help.

P.S. I am a little biased against the bushnell having had bad experiences with two bushnell rangefinders, the most recent incident involved ranging tagets at 1300 on thursday, then on the weekend match it refused to range anything past 450.
