Just got done watching the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy S4. Other than all the usual NEW!!! IMPROVED!!! stuff, some hardware improvements really caught my attention. In addition to the accelerometers and compass Samsung has added a barometer, humidity monitor and thermometer. So, except for the lack of a wind meter, you now have a kinda sorta Kestrel. If any of the ballistic apps get hooked into this you'll have, in many ways the Swiss Army knife of outdoor electronics. Phone, internet, compass, GPS, barometer, hygrometer and thermometer.

Well hell, maybe someone will make a USB plug in wind meter....wishful thinking.
If they can make a plugin credit card reader, why not a wind meter?
The card reader doesn't use the usb port, it uses the head phone jack.
But I'm sure it is possible somehow.
