GAP 10 upper compatibility

I found an old thread on this (below), but it didn't get much mileage and was hoping for a definitive answer (I'm actually hoping to get the answer I want ), can a GAP 10 upper be mounted on a LaRue lower?

Negative!

POF and Larue uppers/lowers don't mix. Different receiver backs (POF/GAP/Hogan all are rounded-back) while the Larue lower is a slant-back (similar but not identical to Armalite). Also, POF/GAP/Hogan use 0.250" mil-spec diameter pivot and take-down pins while the Larue uses the larger 0.275" (rough measurement/recall...don't quote me on that precisely) LR-308 pattern pins.
