Just added a front rail to my GAP PPR Gladus, need to torque the receiver screws. Are the front and rear screws both set to 65 inch lbs? Torque rear first then front?

Thanks in advance.

Should be a mini chassis. I don’t remember what manners suggests, but with any chassis or mini chassis I:

Put action in and start threads
Stand the rifle up vertically with butt in ground or table. This lets gravity seat the recoil lug
Torque front to 25 in
Torque back to 25 in
Torque front to 65 in
Torque back to 65 in

I have also stepped it up 25, 45, 65. But didn’t notice much difference.

Thanks... just what I needed. It's a mini chassis and lug bedded.

What do you think the arca rail should be torqued to? I just hand tightened it for now. 20/25 inch pounds?
