So for a long time I've always wanted a GAP rifle and now I finally have a chance to get one! I'm trying to decide between the m40a3 http://www.gaprecision.net/mil-spec-rifles/m40a3.html or the Crusader http://www.gaprecision.net/ga-precision-2010-custom-rifles/ga-precision-the-crusader.html . I will be using the rifle for 300yd-800yd target shooting and maybe some hunting. Which one would you get and why?

I'd bet the crusader would ship a lot faster. I could be wrong on that though.

I would agree with this statement. If you can swing it, that is a nice rifle. I think this would make a pretty good all round rifle for both the targets and hunting.

I will be ordering the M40A3 from GAP in a couple of weeks. If it is a longer wait so be it. Very personal decision.

Has anyone had any experience with the HRT? Its only been out a few weeks so theres probably not too many people who have it if any. I know this question has been asked so many times before but which stock is better in your opinion the A5 or the A4? I will be shooting prone most of the time.
