The wait is long but truly worth it!

What's the power on your scope? I was thinking of just getting a NF compact 2-10x42, I would like to get a higher magnification for longer shots though, but I thought a 50mm objective would look weird on a hunting style gun like that.

His scope appears to be a 3.5-10X40 or similar. I can tell you that the Manners SL is not the best stock to choose if you're looking to run a larger diameter objective on your optics. It is designed as a light weight hunting rifle stock, large scopes don't jive with light weight. I was told this by Tom Manners himself. My experiences with my SL mirror this exactly. I absolutely love the stock and hope that when I mount up my March tomorrow that the Talley extra-lows will do the trick....will see.

The scope on my 308 is a Leupold 4.5-14 LR. My 260 is wearing a Leupold 3.5-10.

The stock on both rifles is the McMillan in Edge construction.
