Well hell boys, the day started off like any other until my FFL gave me a call and told me my GAP had finally arrived. With youth-like excitement, I left work early, and went right over to my FFL to pick up my rifle. As I walked in he pointed to my rifle on the rack and I just smiled. After all this was my very first high-end, fully custom rifle. As I was looking over the rifle I was dismayed to see the stock was a Bell and Carlson and not the MCM Hunters Edge that I'd requested. I immediately pulled out my smartphone, looked up the build specs from August, and sure enough, the build sheet showed an upgraded stock. I checked the invoice, and sure enough I paid for an MCM stock, so it must've been a mistake. I also noticed that the invoice in the box is a different amount then the build sheet price by $125(after calculating shipping), so if its not one thing, its something else.
Now I know GAP will take care of this and I know its all good, so no bashing in my thread please. A single phone call in the morning will make it 100%, but darn it, sometimes a guy just needs to vent some frustration after having his hopes up. And now unfortunately the wait begins again.
