I bought a mega arms complete 308 here on the hide. Not sure who built it. Sent it to gap and had it rebarelled to 6 creed. They sent it all back to me including the old barrel. I just bought a new mega upper and lower set and was going to use my old barrel. Haven't got all the parts yet but I slid the barrel into the upper and discovered that when it is slid in correctly according to the dial pin and slot on the upper the gas port is at 3 o'clock? Did mega make uppers that had the slot in the upper cut at 9 o'clock ? Why would the upper vs gas port be different? Are there has blocks designed to have a port at 3 and the tube at 12? I am no gas gun builder so be easy on me if I am missing something easy here? What do it do next. I am almost 1000% sure both blocks are JP.
