I apologize if this has been covered somewhere before. Due to the limited availability of AR parts, I am assembling my first BCG.
My question is regarding "sealing" the gas key to the carrier. For those of you with experience installing a gas key, are you sealing the mating surfaces with anything(permatex)?
I currently have the screws at 40inch pounds, and have a staking tool. But before I stake, should i remove the key and "seal" it?
