I'm trying to decide which Geissele trigger is best for me. I am going to put the trigger in a Sig716 and will be using the rifle to maximize the accuracy. It looks like the only difference between these two triggers is the shap of the trigger pad. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Nope. That's it. Same spring and "candy cane" break. I have both and like both.

This is from Bill Geissele as posted on another site "The unique bow on the SD triggers enhances trigger control by sensitizing the trigger finger (round finger on flat trigger rather than round on round). It makes a trigger feel lighter than it really is."

Like Mil.Dot said...the only difference is the trigger shoe (or pad if you want to call it that). No functional/parts differences aside from that.
