I am looking for the best most durable suppressor my ak47, bolt gun, and m4. What do you guys think about the Gemtech HVT? Heard steel was better than titanium for when its on an ak.

Your bolt gun, and M-4 would be great, but the AK was never ment to be suppressed. The gas piston will take the majority of the gas and bleed it off, and will starve the can. AK's don't suppress well. Just my .02.

I say do it. I run an AAC m4-2000 on my 5.45 AK. I made a few modifications to the AK to quiet it down though.

Gas going down the gas tube is not a problem. Gas bleeding off from the gas-block is. My local 07/02 welded the holes closed and we added a beefier recoil-spring to compensate. The project was a success, the gun is comfortable to shoot.

I run one of SEI's M14DC 0.30 caliber cans on my M14s

If I owned an M4 I would install the correct DC Vortex and run the same can on it.

SEI's M14DC is built like a tank and it's rebuildable.
Fisher sell them to civilians.
