At at competition this past weekend, somone was having problems with his scope sliding in the rings. He said it was a common problem with that sope and ring combo. Well, that happens to be the same setup I have, but I have had no problems so far. Is this something a lit of you are seeing issues with?

I have the same setup on my 6.5cm and had the same on my 300wsm before I sold it. I've never had that issue, the setup has worked great for me. Maybe his screws were improperly or inadequately torqued?? The Gen 2's are quite a bit heavier than most other scopes in the same class, maybe that could contribute to his problem.

Installed correctly there should be no slipping. The Razor II is not that much heavier than other scopes and with a quality mount like the Badger it will hold it without issue. Just make sure scope tube is clean and same for inside of rings. You can wipe them with some alcohol or something similar and then torque it down. I use 20 in/lbs.
