I can’t get the button for the shot bearing to work. It always stays on 0. Location and shot angle both work fine, is there a setting that needs turned on or does it have to have a weather flow connected. I would assume it would use the phones compass but maybe it won’t. iPhone.

Works for me on android without being connected to Weatherflow...it might be an issue with your phone, perhaps it doesn't support positional bearing?

Oh try this - under Menu->Settings->Atmospheric Hardware, be sure to set your compass to 'Device'

That didn’t help. I’ve tried about everything I know. Guess I’ll just leave it at zero for now.

Have you tried downloading a compass app and calibrating your phone's compass through that? If you're on android, I successfully did this with Compass Galaxy. Once I calibrated it, it worked pretty well in BallisticARC (you'll have to twist/turn your phone in a figure-eight motion)

I’ve not tried that. Just been trying to use the compass already installed on the phone.

Interesting thing I figured out today. In the map feature there is a small compass in the upper right corner. It moves as I move my phone so the compass must be working at least somewhat.

Same thing should happen with the shot bearing...
