Years ago I had found a webpage for a gunsmith in Georgia that you could build a R700 rifle under his guidance in his shop from bare action to complete. You paid to stay at his place during the build and for the training. Anyone in the Hide remember this smith's name?

Was that Robert Gradous? I saw where another member was selling a Gradous gun here just in the last day or two and said that he built it at Robert's shop....or Robert built it while he was there.

If it was indeed him, sadly Mr. Gradous is no longer with the living. Very sadly, IMO.

Thank yall for your replies and help. I am sorry that missed this opportunity. So sad. I had the privilege to work with Jack Hamrick in his shop who was an artist who is also gone.
