Hahaha. Very nice.

It should be 2-2. I can't believe that ref missed the goal. The World Cup needs instant replay for goals, just like hockey.

Re: GER. vs ENG.

Big surprise. UK was one I was giving as likely winning this year.
Which proves once again, that it doesn't matter how well you play in the years leading to the World Cup.

So the final score should have been 4-2. Definitely a bad call, but Germany played much better. </div></div>

Oh man those 3 they showed at the start... yeehaw... !

Eng was outplayed but was robbed of a goal...

Nop... No instant replays or ref's cameras on football!!

Germany and Argentina had better teams and they deserved the victory with or without those 2 goals.

Re: GER. vs ENG.

I know it sounds unfair, but I believe in keeping the human element inside the game, and the referees are part of it, and like players, can make mistakes.
Which, in the long run, always levels out.
Adding replays and other side-field technology would fragment the game, with players constantly asking for a review.
It is not a matter of goals only, as football has outsides too, which would make the whole thing even messier.
Today there was another bad call from the referees in Argentina vs. Mexico, unfortunately.
At the end though, both Germany and Argentina were the better teams today, and deserved to move forward.
