Gday Fellas,

I've carried a few knives and I am just giving my thoughts on my current one;

My experience with this knife has been since Jan 2008, It has been to Afghanistan with me as well as numerous exercises and shooting/hunting trips.

It is a bit heavier than a lot of knives but it is bloody strong and came sharp from the factory , it is very resilient as i have only had to touch up the edge once. It will cut through anything you will probably ever need it too , and it appears it will last for a good while under heavy use.

I can highly recommend this knife for anyone who needs a survival/ combat knife.

Thanks,

Anthony

I love mine as well but I have yet to test it's effectiveness on the walking undead.

Re: Gerber LMF 2

Thanks for the revue and as you noted above "HEAVY" is the only draw back to the LMF2,If I had to ge do bad things to bad people anytime I would want to add my LMF2 back to my LBV,But I have a Bench Made Griptilian fixed blade in its place and dont miss the weight of the LMF2 one bit.

The LMF2 stays in hands reach and goes belt side on abnormal outings.

The LMF2 is not conntected at the end cap and blade, its isolated, You can stab it in a Fuse box or Cut power cables.
Bang for the Buck its a real good deal.

Re: Gerber LMF 2

gotta love made in America. i was considering purchasing one of these....I think this has convinced me. I purchased a cold steel SRK carbon V about 16 years ago. I have beaten the tar out of that knife and can still sharpen it with my wicked edge set sharp enough to cut hairs - also made in America, back then. Hope the price does not go up too quickly on these. Thanks for the post
