I recently had a trigger job done on my 1911 and when I picked it up the guy told me (according to him) that the best thing to clean and lube your gun with was GIBBS. He said after you clean it there is a micro film of oil left to keep away rust and keep lube at same time, will also work as water repellant too. He uses it on his lathes as well. . I ordered 6 cans of it for $69 shipped to me. Here is a youtube video on it that I found. Anybody else use it or have any experience with it good or bad, thanks
