Glock 17 Gen 1 Price ?

I've got a friend (whatever that means when someone is selling a firearm) who has a Glock 17 Gen 1 with 2 U-notched original 17 round mags. He's selling it, along with the original tupperware style box.

He's wanting $875.

For that price, I think it's a good deal. Gen 1 Glocks don't show up very often and they seen to be getting more rarre every year.

I mean I love my gen 1 glock 17, I am the original owner and every bullet ever shot out of it went perfectly into the center of the target.

Why would someone pay that much? Are they now considered rare? I had no idea (and no mine is not for sale....yet)
