I am considering getting a conversion barrel for my Glock 23 to 9 mm.
what barrels should I consider?
What length?
thanks for your time.

I have a couple threaded alpha barrels from lone wolf, converting the 23 and 35. Probably 10-20k rounds through them. Little tighter tolerances than the Glock barrels so a bit more picky but overall happy. Use stock Glock for self defense, anything else for the range.

Glocks chew through almost any ammo, reloads, etc. The lone wolf alpha barrels seem to have a tighter chamber, so if the ammo/chamber is dirty or out of spec I’ve seen more FTFs and stovepipes. This could also be additional mass of a barrel with a smaller bore diameter because mine are .40 —> 9mm conversions. The road down glock mods is fun, but I’ve not found it to increase reliability (I’ve gone so far as to build a glock without a single glock component, spring or pin.)
