Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock 34 with RMR replacement spring

Just had the slide milled and rmr installed on a gen 4 g34. It's failing to load several times per magazine. Anybody able to recommend a replacement spring to keep this from happening?

Stock recoil spring weight is 17 pounds, I would try a 15 or 13, you didn't say what kind of ammo you were using.

Didn't think about it. I was using the Winchester 115 gr fmj.

All Glocks of the same grip size no matter caliber use the same recoil spring assy, Glock controls slide speed by slide weight, you added weight with the sight, so I would start off with a lower recoil spring weight, factory Win ammo is probably not a consideration, if you were shooting low/minor PF(power factor) ammo then maybe.

Thanks for the info. Any specific spring you recommend? I just want to make sure I'm getting the correct spring for the gen 4.
