Put about 150 rounds total through a 43X and a 48. Mixed a bunch of ammo and randomly loaded into the mags. Golden Sabres, Gold Dots, HST, White box and some reloads. 100% reliability so far.
Here are some pics for size comparisons. I've been carrying the 43 with a + 2 extension, and it is exactly the same size as the new 43X. The pic with 5 pistols is a 43x, 48, 43, 42 and a Sig 365. And it's kind of hard to see, but the stacked gun pic is the 365 on top of the 43X.
Both pistols are very, very controllable. The 48 kind of looks and feels like a mini 34 to me.
