Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock .45 GAP value?

Re: Glock .45 GAP value?

New, same as any other Glock. Used, about $100 less than any other chambering.

A really nice used Glock usually fetches ~$450, unless it's a special model like a 35. A great deal is $400. The GAPs are hard to sell.

Funny how desirable a GAP rifle is, and how undesirable a GAP pistol is.... ;-)

AMEN Brother, you nailed this!

Re: Glock .45 GAP value?

And by the way... I have no hate/resentment for the 45GAP chambering, other than its brass (along with 45 auto rim and small primer 45ACP) getting mixed into my 45 stash. It met its design objective of packaging the sought-after 230gr .45 ballistics in a 40-cal platform. Trouble is it's not *just* a 230gr @ 850-900fps that people are after, it's the stigma of the Automatic Colt Pistol. Very few folks that WANT/NEED that 45 will settle for anything other than the ACP. Hell, GAP woulda flopped even if it significantly exceeded ACPs performance.

Re: Glock .45 GAP value?

A buddy of mine had one and traded it for a 1911 plus cash. Later he came accross 2 boxes of 45 GAP ammo. I took the ammo to the gun show in fort worth to try and sell or trade for some 45 acp..... Talked to aroud 20 different people and none would by or trade due to the fact that it wont sell. One guy dug out a few boxes he's had for several years and could not sell. Dont think the Glock 45 is a good seller.
Good luck.
