Gunsmithing Glock question

I want to change out the factory mag release with an extended mag release, however I not sure how to pull out the mag catch/ spring on my G21sf.. It is not like the other glocks I have that have a simple one piece spring.. This one looks kind of like a hinge for lack of a better explanation.Does anyone know how I can pull this catch out and put in my extended mag release??? BTW this is an ambidextrous release..

Hadn't thought about putting on the extended mag release,didnt know it was even and option, good idea. I love the controls on my 35 so I added the extended slide release, love it. I thought I could make the trigger feel like the 35 as well so I ordered the Glock minus connector like the 35...no joy. Damn thing actually made the trigger pull worse! At least I have the slide release. I'll be interested to see if you can get this to work.
