Just a basic question that I couldn't find the answer to.

Are sights for a Glock universal? As in...will they work for both Gen 3 and Gen 4 of the same model?

I recently acquired a Gen4 G34 in trade and it's got Sevigny competition sights with a fiber optic front.
I'm probably going to sell the pistol, but I thought about keeping the sights and putting my Gen 3 factory sights on it.
In my experience, upgrades are generally "user specific" and just because they are worth $85, doesn't mean that someone interested in the pistol will consider it an $85 upgrade.

    Re: Glock sights

Sights are interchangeable between the 9s, 357s, 40s and the G36. The 45s and 10s take different sights. They'll fit, but won't aim properly.

Otherwise, there are several different rear sight "heights" out there, indicated by a different marking.

    Gen3 and Gen4 sights interchange.

I knew the rest, this was the part I needed conformation on. Thanks.
